Jio Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Special Prepaid Recharge Plans and Freebies
To celebrate its 7th anniversary, Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has introduced exclusive deals on certain prepaid plans, as revealed by Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Jio has recently enhanced its plans by including a Netflix subscription alongside specific recharge plans, making it the first telecom provider in India to provide this feature. As part of the 7th-anniversary special plans, Jio will be offering additional data and advantages.
7th Anniversary Offers: Jio Prepaid Recharge Plans
Jio is offering special data offers and other benefits on select three packs – Rs. 299, Rs. 799 and Rs. 2999. Thus, it caters to users who opt for a monthly, quarterly or yearly recharge plan.
1. Rs. 299 pack – This deal is valid for 28 days during which users get 2GB data and 100 SMS per day along with unlimited voice calls. Jio is also offering special benefits with this deal by offering 7GB additional data to users.
2. Rs. 799 plan – Rs. 799 plan offers users the same benefits as the Rs. 299 plan but with a longer validity period of 90 days. Jio prepaid users also get 14GB extra data in the form of 2x7GB vouchers.
3. Rs. 2999 plan – This plan comes with a validity period of 365 days and offers Jio prepaid customers additional benefits beyond the standard data and calling functionality. Users get 2.5 GB of data and 100 text messages per day, as well as unlimited voice calls.
Apart from this, Jio offers additional benefits like 21GB additional data in the form of 3 x 7GB vouchers, Rs. 200 off on Ajio, up to 20% off on NetMeds (up to Rs. 800), Rs. 100 off on Swiggy and 10 percent off on Reliance Digital.
People who travel frequently can get up to Rs. 1500 off on flights and 15 percent off on hotels up to Rs. 4000 in the Yatra. Diners can also grab a free McDonald’s meal worth Rs. 149 and above.
Jio Prepaid Netflix Plan
1. Rs. 1099 Pack – This Jio prepaid pack comes with a validity period of 84 days where consumers get unlimited voice calls and 2GB data. However, if you are part of the Jio Welcome offer and have a compatible 5G phone, you can use unlimited 5G data. It is priced at Rs. 1099. This plan comes bundled with Netflix’s mobile-only plan, which lets you stream Netflix content in 480p only on your smartphones.
2. 1499 plan – This more expensive deal comes with Netflix’s basic plan. You can get 720p streaming on devices like mobile phones, tablets, laptops and TVs. In addition to the Netflix package, you also get unlimited voice calls and 3 GB of daily data. You can also avail unlimited 5G data with Jio’s welcome offer if you have a compatible 5G phone.
